Shift & Schedule

Requirements & Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Previous ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Ability to multitask and triage effectively
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to changes
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and clinical interventions
- Support patient and family education related to treatment plans and health management
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Wisconsin
- Minimum of 1 year experience in emergency nursing or related acute care setting preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS certification a plus
- Exceptional clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize care effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
